Born from the legacy of a second-generation coffee family, Olman Sauceda is a professional coffee taster and producer dedicated to the art of specialty coffee. His journey began with his family’s farm, where he launched the Finca Elite project with a vision to combine tradition and innovation.

Located in the ideal coffee-growing region of Mozonte, Nueva Segovia, at 1450 – 1600 meters, this family-run farm aims to be a benchmark for high-end coffee. By adapting unique varieties like chiroso, orange gesha, sidra, and pink bourbon to Nicaragua’s climate, Finca Elite is helping to position the country in international markets with coffees that have one-of-a-kind profiles.

Their commitment to quality recently earned them first place in the 2025 Nicaragua Cup of Excellence for their honey-processed gesha lot. This victory is a testament to the hard work and passion behind the project, confirming their vision and dedication to maintaining excellence.

We have proudly worked with Olman Sauceda since 2018, sourcing exceptional coffees from his operations. Finca Elite is not just growing coffee; it’s cultivating identity, diversity, and excellence, and we are thrilled to see them represent Nicaragua as the 2025 Cup of Excellence champions.

Honey Gesha
This Cup of Excellence winning coffee brought sweet and tropical mango, the sweet-delicate floralness of white peach, and a delicious backing of butterscotch.

Sun Dried Gesha
This gesha is the same lot as the Cup of Excellence winning coffee, but with a sun dried process instead of honey. This wonderful gesha has sweet and subtle tartness of lychee, the fruity backbone of pink starburst, and vanilla yogurt brings it all together in one delicious package.

This is a weekly pre-order. We will roast to order and ship out on Fridays. The cutoff for ordering each week is Wednesday by 9am. Orders placed after 9am Wednesday will ship the Friday of the following week.

Due to next week’s holiday, any orders of this coffee that are placed after 9am on Dec 17 will ship on Jan 2.
