Since 2004, Olman Valladarez and his family have pioneered different processing methods – their mill is outfitted with raised beds, covered and uncovered patios, anaerobic tanks, color sorting machines, and new dry milling techniques to catch defects and separate the coffees by size. They have a great deal of diversified shade and utilize modern farming techniques – like integrated pest management – to grow this wonderful coffee. We’ve been partnering with this second generation family owned farm since 2018 and we’re excited to offer this great new coffee. La Laguna is a very sweet coffee with notes of fudge and strawberry jam.
