Halo Bariti comes from 250 family-owned farms organized around the Halo Bariti cooperative in the Worka Zone. This natural processed coffee is hand sorted and turned for 15 days on drying tables. The Worka Zone is one of the most remote and undeveloped growing regions in Ethiopia, meaning that most farmers have more land than in Sidama or Yirgacheffe. The farms around the Halo Bariti Coop are some of the highest altitude farms, resulting in remarkable cup quality.
