Job title: Store Manager – 1600 Glenarm
Description: The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations of our downtown location. The manager reports to the President (not that one) and is always looking for ways to grow and improve store and company performance.
*Develop and keep a happy, motivated, and highly skilled staff. This includes hiring, firing, conducting regular store meetings/trainings, and spot checking operations.
*Ensure the customer experience is positive, and address any negative feedback constructively.
*Manage revenue, labor, COGS, and expenses efficiently. Work with management and staff to improve.
*Collaborate with other store managers to improve consistency and performance.
*Help to grow and maintain the company’s strong community presence and positive reputation in the local and national craft coffee industry.
*Prior specialty coffee management experience.
*A passion for serving people.
*An ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
*Very well organized and detail-oriented.
*Consistently working a varied shift load (opens, closes, weekends, etc).
*A well developed palate.
*Strong ability to communicate positively and effectively to staff and customers.
*Prior alcohol service experience a plus.
