Job Title: Kitchen Manager
We’re hiring a kitchen manager to help lead our current commissary food program and create a top quality menu and successful back of house operation at our newest location in Hilltop. The Kitchen Manager will work alongside Retail Director, Store Manager, Consulting Chef, and President to develop and execute this program. Special focus paid to using high quality local ingredients in as many items as possible.
Responsibilities include:
-Lead commissary program that services all Novo stores
-Help create and manage in-house food program at Novo Hilltop
-Recipe development
-Profitability management
-Inventory & food purchasing
-Food & Safety standard compliance
-Kitchen staff hiring, firing, and training
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2+ years sous chef or related cooking experience required
-Kitchen management experience and menu writing a plus
-Commitment to quality, accuracy, timeliness, and results
-Flexible schedule to work mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
-Effective communication skills, positive attitude, and team-player mentality
-Advanced ability to troubleshoot and multi-task
-Experience and knowledge of local producers/networks
-Pastry experience a plus
