Our Coffee


We want to reintroduce you to coffee; it didn’t originate in a European café amidst writers, lovesick poets, and starving artists. Coffee was discovered in what is now known as Ethiopia, where it’s called Bunna—pronounced “BOON-NUH” in their native language of Amharic.

We believe that it’s important to value the people who grow and harvest coffee cherries, the cultures that exist where coffees are cultivated and the economic relationships that are formed with every coffee purchase. We strive to connect with origin and support the communities that start our beans on their path to your cup.

We roast green beans with our beautiful Vittoria machines in such a way that the subtleties between roasts are as apparent as the nuances found in wine. We are proud to be able to offer you some of the most distinctive and flavorful coffees available in today’s marketplace.

Our Process

Knowledge is power. This is certainly true when it comes to coffee. We roast on Mondays and Tuesdays, offer educational cuppings on Fridays and abide by the industry standards of brewing ratios, filtered water and proper brewing temperatures. We believe coffee is more than a commodity; it’s a key ingredient in how we understand the world and is the driving force behind our desire for constant improvement—in all aspects of our lives.
